Bericote acquired a former derelict manufacturing plant on 8.5 acres with Blackrock in Chandlers Ford, Southampton, to speculatively develop 3 dethatched logistic units totalling 150,000 sq ft.

This is the first major development on the Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate in over 15 years. During construction, unit 1 was let on a 10 year lease to DX Network services for an Ikea distribution facility.  Unit 2 was subsequently let to Charles Kendal Freight on a 10 year lease at a rent of £10psf, a record rent for the area.
