The ecommerce giant has agreed a 15-year lease for the warehouse at BlackRock Real Estate and Bericote’s recently completed Tower Thurrock industrial estate.
The online giant is believed to be paying rent of £8.25/sq ft for the property, which also has 91 accompanying car parking spaces.
Unit 1 at Tower Thurrock, which is 52,000 sq ft, was pre-let to office supplies company EBB in November last year, while the 100,000 sq ft Unit 3 remains on the market.
CBRE, Altus and Strutt & Parker are joint agents for Tower Thurrock.
