After over six years and the successful completion of over 3 million square feet of development at Littlebrook, Dartford, Bericote is now embarking on the final phase of its transformative work in the area. A planning application has been submitted for 3 individual units, totalling 143,100 square feet over 8 acres.
Phase 4 will be located on the site of the old National Grid Substation, built in 1974 adjacent to the former oil fired power station.
As part of our long-term strategy, Bericote & Tritax Big Box REIT plc have provided alternative land at the Powerhouse enabling National Grid to build a new facility helping to transmit 2GW of low carbon and renewable energy from Kent wind farms to around 1.5 million homes.
The old National Grid substation will be recycled and wherever possible reused in the building of our new units.
The development will target EPC A and BREEAM Outstanding accreditation.
